heart from the streets is dedicated to discovering talent that is overshadowed by circumstances beyond one’s control - like homelessness and social inequities. historically, artists have been marginalized until they’re discovered, so we work to bridge the gap and make those discoveries more accessible. Everyone deserves the chance to make it as an artist.
what we do:
aim To remove stigma surrounding homelessness, mental health, and addiction through practicing arts

124 hours of workshops conducted at various shelters, over the course of 7 months for the purpose of creating work to be displayed and sold at artspeak gallery
heart from the streets and its first iteration, Colors of Resilience, are proud recipients of the arts, cultural, and heritage fund grant of the city of Windsor
